Sai Srikar Vaidyula is a highly skilled and motivated graduate student at the University of California, San Diego, with a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, specializing in Signal and Image Processing. He is an accomplished professional with over three years of relevant experience in the field of Machine Learning, Image Processing, Computer Vision, and Robotics. Sai is proficient in Python, C/C++, MATLAB, and Electronics, with extensive experience in developing and implementing complex algorithms for data analysis, recommender systems, web mining, statistical learning, and convex optimization. He is currently working as a Machine Learning Intern at Occuspace, where he is responsible for developing and implementing machine learning models to improve the accuracy of occupancy detection in commercial spaces. Prior to this, Sai worked as a Full-time Software Engineer at Qualcomm for three years, where he gained valuable experience in software development, data analysis, and algorithm design. He also worked as a Research Intern at the Video Analytics Lab at IISc and as a Student Researcher at the Cardiovascular Imaging Lab at UCSD, where he developed and implemented novel algorithms for image and signal processing. Sai is currently working as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Halıcıoğlu Data Science Institute, UC San Diego, where he is responsible for teaching Algorithms for Data Science to a class of 50+ students. He is a highly motivated and dedicated individual, with a passion for learning and a strong desire to succeed in the field of Machine Learning and Data Science. Sai holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from IIT and a Minor in Biomedical Engineering from IIT. He is also currently pursuing a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from UC San Diego, which is expected to be completed in December 2023.
